Can’t figure out which goose down duvet to buy at the king duvet sale? You could go with buying down duvets – these are made of the soft under layer of feathers from a duck or goose’s breast. They provide great insulation, and have no quills. In fact, the higher the percentage of down in the duvet, you will realize that it feels more soft, light and much more comfortable. But the disadvantage of natural duvets is that they tend to be more susceptible to the filling “shifting” – this makes the duvet less comfortable. However, synthetic duvets, especially the lower quality ones, do not feel as comfortable as the down duvets. But the ones of better quality feel more comfortable. You can go for one with advanced fibers, of the newer and more expensive variety – they tend to be more lightweight and soft. Ultimately it depends upon your own choice and comfort level.
